The Bradbury Den at Patchwork Farm will be a place where young people at Chailey Heritage can learn alongside local schools and other community groups. Schools will be able to learn about the environment and biodiversity, finding out how the farm is run with teamwork and cooperation. The build will incorporate sustainable materials, including straw bale walls, earth wall blocks (Strocks), sedum roof, riven oak cladding and a habitat wall with removable ‘inserts’ for each nook which can be filled with different materials.
